Instructional DesignerWSRI is in need of a professional to design and develop instructional material for medical readiness and disaster planning and response training courses. The ideal candidate with have three to five years experience as an instructional designer, including experience in creating the theory of a course and determining how technology can be used to communicate the goal of the training program. Experience with multimedia authoring or development tools are desirable. Background experience in one of more of the following content areas a plus:
- Technical Programming
- Information Technology and/or Systems
- Education
Responsibilities include effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. Development of entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences. Ability to utilize multimedia technology and authorizing tools. Act as liason in determining needs of the course and appropriate method of delivery with subject matter experts. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Adult Education or related discipline and knowledge of ADDIE or other like models.
